Summary
I am a qualified registered general nurse with 10 years’ experience. I am efficient and passionate about delivering high quality patient care in the Emergency Department and continuously seek out new opportunities to further my professional development. My research interests include trauma education, simulation, the transfer of the critically ill patient and nursing recognition/response to clinical deterioration. I have presented the findings of my own research on critical care transfers with both oral and poster presentations at multiple research conferences. I was the recipient of the ‘Excellence in Emergency Nursing’ bursary at the 2021 IAEM conference with my QI project on Conscious Proning in suspected/confirmed Covid19 patients.
