• I worked as a camp counsellor during this period, later becoming a cabin lead. During this job, I had to communicate with the leadership of the camp, look after the campers and organise/ oversee the counsellors in my cabin. This improved my leadership skills as I learned how to be nice, motivating and respectful while giving guidance/ orders to my colleagues. This experience improved my communication and problem-solving skills as I had to handle sick children, colleagues not working, homesick children and communicating with their parents.

• I worked as a general operator and sales assistant, improving my communication and sales skills. I learned how to effectively and politely communicate to sales teams, finance teams, marketing teams, sub-contractors and colleagues. My daily tasks included updating stock quantity and stock location on the system, optimising warehouse efficiency by reorganising stock based on sales frequency, improving accessibility and reducing retrieval times. I also performed general labouring and attempted to sell furniture, tiles and stoves to customers.

• During this period, I worked as a labourer. This helped improve my communication skills due to the very loud work environment. This work experience also improved my work ethic by working 10-hourshifts in a physically demanding job. I gained hands-on experience with a variety of tools and equipment, improving precision, safety awareness and technical skills.
