Callum Conlon

Following my Leaving Cert, I embarked on a course of study to facilitate a career in Outdoor Education. After 2 years of study where I achieved numerous certificates & competencies, I decided to change direction into Computing & Networking. This afforded me the opportunity to undertake an Erasmus placement in Leipzig where I could focus on the Smart Home sector. This was hands on, from learning basic electrics & home wiring followed with programming smart devices in the home. I found this very enjoyable as I felt that I was particularly competent both in the physical installation & the subsequent programming. This experience has served to make me want to learn more and presue securing a position as an apprentice with a reputable company as yours.

I believe my experience, ability to work within a team & enthusiasm will make me a good fit for your organisation. I'm mobile & willing to relocate to facilitate securing this position.

All my work experience to date, primarily in the service industry, has served to fund my education. Working in the service sector has allowed me to develop my diligence, observation and perception. I have worked under pressure and in a fast and public environment.
