I'm an enhanced mental health nurse with two years' post-registration experience in an acute mental health setting that offers compassionate, person-centred acute treatment. I've conducted many mental health and risk assessments, developed and evaluated care plans, and provided evidence-based interventions to challenging and enduring mental health patients. Crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safeguarding skills ensure safe and therapeutic environments for service users and staff. I communicate effectively and build therapeutic relationships that support recovery. I work in collaboration with a MDT team to enable the best possible treatment/outcome for my patients. By maintaining high professional standards, reflecting on my practice's and continual professional development, this allows me to provide high-quality, recover-basedd mental health care.
