Recent completion of a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Galway, achieving First Honours distinction, has established a solid foundation in environmental and botanical science. Developed strong proficiency in coding, plant identification, data management, and environmental monitoring through rigorous coursework and hands-on projects, including a fourth-year project that modeled the impacts of environmental conditions on seagrass meadows using R Studio and QGIS. Experience as a bursar with the Marine Institute's Marine Spatial Planning Team enhanced skills in data reporting and communications, alongside advanced GIS software applications (ArcGIS Pro and AGOL). A passion for ecology and botany drives a commitment to effectively understanding and interpreting ecosystems.
