It could be said that I started as an accidental tour guide and organizer, but now I have found my calling.
Over the last few years, I have organized annual holidays, short breaks, and walking tours for family and friends.
including 2 Camino d'Santiago walks
4-day city break in cities such as Venice, Barcelona, Lisbon, London, Amsterdam, and the Christmas market in Basel.
since 2023 I have also organised the annual 10 day break.
May/June 2023 exploring Cinque-terra area, Pisa and Florence
May 2024, the Greek Islands of Naxos, Santorini, and a two-day break in Athens.
Oct 2024- short city break to Istanbul, finding hotels, and a local guide.ide.
May/June 2025 - 10 day in Croatia, arriving in Split, moving to Hvar island, finishing up in Dubrovnik.
This various trips required management of all elements of the tour/trip logistics: flights, airport transfers, hotel bookings, and attraction/exhibit reservations.
for the annual holidays I have researched the chosen location, local history, places of interest, local attractions and entertainment, environmental conditions for the time we plan to go.
I have also conducted research on our wish-list destinations or attractions to add to the bucket list.
Ancestry tours- Having researched the family ancestry, I have delivered guided tours to family members interested in places and locations with meaning to our family.
Work Tours- on occasion for work we were been visited by colleagues in a similar industry and I would customized tours to meet specific interests of the visiting groups, including tours of our work facility, tours outside Dublin and evening entertainment
