Key responsibilities and achievements:

• Led large-scale automation upgrade projects across Plants 02 and 03, overseeing system reengineering, hardware modernization, and HMI redesign.
• Directed the centralization of control centers for three industrial units, streamlining operations and improving real-time data accessibility.
• Developed HMI interfaces using FactoryTalk View (FTView), integrating PLCs (Allen-Bradley) with DeviceNet and Schneider smart relays (Tesys).
• Implemented segmented industrial network architecture, designing VLAN-based topologies to improve network reliability and data flow.
• Created automated report generation tools using C# and SQL Server, providing real-time operational insights by integrating PLC data with the PI System.

As an Instrumentation Technician at one of Brazil's leading aluminum production facilities, I was responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of critical process instrumentation and automation systems. This included extensive work with RF transmitters, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and frequency inverters, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of field devices and control loops essential to plant operations.
