I'm a hardworking and enthusiastic individual with hands-on experience at Olive Coghlan's Farm, where I learned the importance of safety, teamwork, and staying focused under pressure. I’ve always taken pride in doing my best—whether it was improving how things ran on the farm, caring for animals, or operating equipment safely and efficiently. I’m eager to bring that same dedication and willingness to learn in a career in electrical work, where I can continue building my skills and contribute to a safe, productive team environment.

I've been playing Gaelic football with Balyna GAA Club since I was four years old, and I'm currently the full back on the Minor team. Training twice a week and playing matches most weekends has taught me the value of discipline, commitment, and working as part of a team. Playing in defence has also sharpened my ability to stay calm under pressure, think quickly, and communicate effectively—all of which are key skills for both sport and a career as an electrician. The GAA has given me a strong work ethic, a sense of community, and a drive to always keep improving, which I look forward to carrying with me into my apprenticeship.
I’ve been playing soccer since I was six years old with B.B.C United, and now at 18 year old, I play centre back for the U20 men’s team. I also play in this position for the Senior Men’s team, having recently been invited to step up. We train twice a week and travel across the county for matches, often playing one or two games each weekend. Playing centre back has helped me develop strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to stay calm and focused during high-pressure moments. Being part of the senior team has given me valuable experience playing alongside older, more experienced players—one of whom is an electrician. Talking to him and seeing his passion for the trade has really sparked my own interest in pursuing a career in this field.
Accomplishments
I have won a few awards BBC United Soccer Club. These include: U13 Division 3 League Winners, Player of the Year and two Players of the Week's.
I also was part of the U16 Division 2 Championship winning team with Balyna Gaelic Football Club.
