My duties included in Hospital Setting ,Nursing Home and day Care centre in the laois area i was doing Housekeeping and Kitchen Assistant ,hygiene maintanance to a high standard

bedrooms ,bathrooms ,laundry and hazard control ,deep cleaning infection prevention of all areas ,keeping corridoors clean and maintaiend bins and toilets ect.

With Platinum Homecare my duties were caring for the Elderly

in the persons own home in MountMellick community i was

caring for several Clients on a daily basis ,Dementia and Pallative

care to Clients with Cancer and diebetes ,

i done some block hours have lots of experince in Personal Care

Dressing washing ,assisting in and out from bed ,meal prep and medication promp ,breakfast dinner lunches ,tidying the clients home washing clothes keeping beds and light house work also

i also assited in Pallative care bed positioning at a very sensitive time ,turning clients at end of life personal care also , i also assisted clients on daily stroles had lots of laughs and chats and board games and companionship .

My duties were daily bus runs ,collecting and assitting service users on and off the bus to a day centre in Portlaoise ,clamping and securing wheelchairs and safetybelts ,keeping close eye on our journey to and from the service users homes ,In the day centre

breakfast and lunches was served ,plenty of meal assisting with

the service users ,supporting to the bathrooms and assisting in personal care ,

we also had games and art room and i assisted in painting ,board games and pyrography and computer rooms and many movies botcha and plenty of picnics and day trips and shopping trips

all clients needed to be accompanied on those occastions and kept close eye to .
