  • As principal of a Gaeltacht school of 450 students and 60 staff I promote a culture of improvement, collaboration, innovation and creativity in teaching and learning, and assessment, while managing the planning and implementation of the school curriculum through the medium of Irish.
  • Establish and lead staff teams in all areas of school life, building leadership capacity while also fostering student voice to develop student leaders.
  • Manage the school’s human, physical and financial resources, to create and maintain a highly functioning organisation while managing challenging and complex situations including conflict resolution.
  • Promote the pastoral care of students and staff, something that is of paramount importance to me.

  • Appointed Principal of Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne where I led the school through the COVID-19 pandemic, promote the holistic development of our students and introduced various initiatives, including being the first school in Ireland to introduce the Yondr smartphone management system.
