- Involved extensively in financial management program during the spin off of GE flagship in 2021/22 into the standalone entity "GE Healthcare". Program involves training on different ERP subledger tool "Peoplesoft" and "SAP" and smooth transition of P&L and Balance sheet of EMEA legal entities with accurate closing balances measured by control points.
- Conducting thorough financial forecasting, reporting and closing for EMEA legal entities under ASC606 "Revenue Recognition" in compliance with IFRS and US GAAP.
- Managing P&L and Balance sheet reviews during CFO risk review calls to highlight the various risks such as Unbilled AR risk, Revenue risk, execution risk, liquidity risk etc. and future action plan for smooth governance of financials.
- Execute Financial Planning & Analysis to determine cash flows, revenue projections, monitor P&L elements and design financial models.
- Connecting with Sales team to understand the commercial implications of the end products sold to the customers to determine Fair Market value with right pricing and establish technical accounting processes for various commercial controllership projects.
- Perform extensive reconciliations for the accounts such as Sales/Revenue account, Contract asset account, Finance Receivables account and most importantly Deferred Revenue and Deferred cost accounts.
- Responsible to handle external audits, providing requested backup, calculations and reasoning to secure a clear opinion and reinforce stakeholder trust.
- Implement internal controls for AR invoices, AP invoices, in compliance with SOX 404 Sarbanes Oxley act to avoid red audit risk. Monitor Bad debt reserves and take action for the high aging invoices and take necessary steps.
