I’m a graduate of BSc (Hons) in Construction management at ATU Galway. I have skills in BIM, CAD, Project Management, Design and Health & Safety. I particularly enjoy and have excelled in project management, environmental management and building performance as well as technology. I have excellent communication and team working skills which I have developed through group projects and work experience while in Chelsea, London for eight months.

Work placement, I worked as an assistant quality control manager as well as an assistant finishing manager for MIDGARD on the Chelsea waterfront project. This was a £500 million project. During my time on this project, I was overlooking snagging and de-snagging the blocks that were at the handover stage. On a regular basis I had to get the workforce in to blocks and fix defects this included paint touch ups french polishing and carpentry as well as laying carpets, tiles installing doors and all areas involved in getting the project to the completed stage. I had to make sure all aspects were closed out and any snags picked up by the client or architect was completed by my workforce. I tracked the work completed using the software like Fieldview. and then constantly updated the chart for the project progress. I also issued out project progress reports to subcontractors to keep them up to date as to what stage the project is in and if they have any work that is still left outstanding.
