- I did my Professional Work Experience for UCD on a dairy farm in New Zealand.
- This was a 800 cow dairy farm.
- My duties included milking in a 50 bale rotary parlour, identifying and treating mastitis.
- Identified cows that were close to calving, had calved on the out farm and brought them back to the milking platform.
- Tube fed new born calves, feeding and caring for calves, treating calves.
- Identifying cows in heat, helping the AI technician.
